Funeral service stock - IVC

I am placing orders for the biggest Australian funeral service stock - IVC. The annual growth is around 22% and dividend around 3.5%. The population is in Aussie is getting older. Anyone has any experience trading this stock?

Also, any similar stock in HK?

I attended several funerals recently, and I find this business can't loss any money and indeed is very profitable.

This is a good stock and have a general raising trend over the years:
http://au.finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=IVC.AX&t=2y

But don't expect it will have a sudden jump of 50% within 1 day but keeping it as HSBC for years.

The demand for the funeral service should be raising and IVC is the biggest, and every stage of funeral service (cemeteries, coffin, agent consulting, and even flowers etc) is so profitable and customers have no much bargaining power and they are willing to spend.

This share is recently recommended by Commonwealth Bank.

I'll never buy any gambling nor military stocks no matter how profitable they are. But this one is OK.

The Chinese pack the funeral as sad, deadly, fung shui, and sometimes with ghost and evil. The front page may focus on coffin, white flowers basket which make u feel uncomfortable.

But the westerner pack the same service as peaceful, re-born, new life and hope.

That's y u see the much difference in the 2 extremes.

2 ways.

1) U should have an Aussie acct in Assuie, and use the bank or etrade's internet for trading.

2) Open an acct in the Zurich or similar for international shares, and u can operate in HK but thru the agent insteads of internet. U can buy not only Aussie share, but also shares in Korea, Jap, USA, or even Vietnam index fund listed in London etc where has stock markets. It's like a
small Private bank.

#2 is not for everyone. :(:o:hamsup::L:lookaround:

#2 is easier than #1. As I don't really know the taxation arrangement after u earn something in shares in Australia. So I am thinking of #2 insteads of #1 actively.

But for #2, there should be a min entry amt (I don't know the amt) for each acct, which is reasonable for trading oversea shares. If one has only few hundred thousands $, then one should concentrade on HK local shares and don't think much la, right? I guess the entry amt should be around $200K to $500K, which is far less than the Private Bank of USD1M.

Also, I find there is #3, which u open the Prestige acct in HSBC, which can allow u to buy Aussie shares (or other countries' shares ?). But the response is slow and thru human order and don't expect u have a real time quotation and response.

#2's entry amt should be less than #3.

Overseas shares should be for the rich.

Thanks. #1 is easy too. Just open an account with boom.com and you can buy ASX stocks.:lol;P:)

Opening an account in Australia itself will be difficult as you need to provide a lot of documentation. Even opening a GSM mobile phone account is a hassle there!:o:(:'(:oh:
