ISOLATION

Do people isolate each other?

From ‘the great earth’ point of view, geography isolated poor from the rich, black from white and yellow.

From ‘country’ point of view, in US, still some blacks being isolated from white.  What a country always claims herself as a country of justice and world police!  Fuck off!

From ‘society’ point of view, rich are isolating themselves from the poor.  Doing charities but need everybody knows.

From ‘forum’ point of view……..what is right, and what is wrong?

No point to say from this point in time.  Or maybe I was wrong.  I shouldn’t start the conversation in the first place.

“Treat everything as light as a feather”…….easily said than done.  Can you?  What about a black feather?  Still need to be isolated?

So put it under the context of xocat, no matter what perspectives you are holding, you are xocat members.  so we shouldn't 'expel' or 'isolate' each other.  while on the other hand, we should 'expel' those are damaging timway. :boxing:

I'm talking about napkins "衛生巾", sanitory protection for ladies, not "餐巾".

The market of napkin is very large.  Imagine each lady under the age group of say 16-45 (?) has to use at least 3 pieces every month, and these ladies are likely to stock up during promotions.  Paper products are used to be of high margin, and the money earned is used on brand building.

In Hong Kong, we can say there are three key brands dominating the napkins, or so called sanitary protection market, namely Kotex, Whisper, and Lauriel.  Which brand do you use?

Let’s take a look at the product itself.  Whisper is one of the most popular brand in HK, and in terms of pricing, it is almost the most competitive one.  In the napkin itself, Whisper has a lot of materials used for absorption of fluid and smell.  And because of the goal to make the napkin thinner, the use of cotton is relatively less than other brands, which may make the ‘feel’ less comfortable.  However, Kotex emphasizes on the ‘comfort’ offer to users so more cotton is used, and it’s thus relatively more expensive.

So ladies.  If your ‘sensitive’ part is really very sensitive and want to prevent from unnecessary allergies, I would suggest you to use Kotex.  If you only focus on absorption, buy Whisper.  If you haven’t got any issue on comfort or absorption, you can also consider Lauriel.:rose:

I was in Sheung Wan yesterday afternoon and it was extremely hot.  I only got better after jumping into the taxi.

People say that warmer temperature is mainly due to poor environmental protection, and also global warming.  I just wonder how it would affect a tiny place like HK.

Anyone knows what is Albedo?  It's a concept that black absorbs heat while white reflects heat.

So a black umbrella means??????? Counteract heat or absorb heat?  Difficult to determine.
