Road tax

Is the road tax in hong kong based on car size? or is it the same for all cars?

Unlike Mainland China, Hong Kong didn't have road tax,
We only need to pay the VEHICLE LICENCE FREE which base on vehicle weight and type (exclude Private Car)
Private Car - VEHICLE LICENCE FREE which base on Car Engine Size

In Hong Kong, Car owners have to pay

Direct Tax
1. Vehicle Registration Tax for a new car. (0% - 100%)
2. Fuel tax.
3. Annual License Fee.

Indirect Tax.
1. Maintenance Fee
2. Accessory
3. Parking
4. Traffic Offense Ticket
5. Tunnel fee
6. Tire replacement
7. Insurance Fee.

I have already paid over HK$1,000 recently and lost 9 points already :fire::fire::fire:

note that always hv laser guns during the late morning rush hours,
10.00-11.00  i lost 6 pts. in the same spot in 2 weeks.

both over 16 kms. , means 3 pts. each.  fuxx the system. ds :L:verygood:
