有所地方都有所加強，包括採用全新 12.3 百萬像素 DX 格式 CMOS、最高 8 fps 連拍、Multi-CAM 3500DX 對焦系統、51 點自動對焦點（15 個為十字型感應器）、支援 Live View 功能、支援 ISO 200 - 3200 感光度（可擴充至 ISO 6400）、3 吋 922,000 像素 LCD、感光元件自動除塵等等。Nikon D300 預計於本年 11 月上市，售價約為 US$1800。

作為一部中級 DSLR，Nikon D300 在不少地方都跟頂級的 D3 相近。例如在像素方面，雖然 D300 並非全片幅規格，不過 12.3 百萬有效像素經已跟 D3 不相伯仲。此外，支援 51 個對焦點的 CAM3500DX AF 感應器跟 D3 亦是同出一徹，而 3 吋 922,000 像素 LCD、支援 AF 功能的 Live View、HDMI 視頻輸出、UDMA CF 支援等亦跟 D3 一樣。至於連拍方面，雖然末能達 11 fps，不過安裝電池手柄之後，亦可做到 8 fps 之速度，沒有電池手柄時亦可達 6 fps，在中級機來說是最高紀錄。在一些細微的地方，D300 亦有頂級機風範，例如 45 ms 快門時滯、100% 觀景器取景範圍等，以這個定價來說可謂非常吸引。

Nikon D300 主要特點︰

配備 12.3 百萬有效像素 CMOS，焦距放大率為 1.5x。
設有 Nikon EXPEED 影像處理器。
支援 30 秒至 1/8000 秒快門速度，最高閃燈同步快門為 1/250 秒，在減低 GN 值的情況下可推高至 1/320 秒。
支援 ISO 200 - 3200，使用 ISO Boost 可使用 ISO 100 及 ISO 6400 感光度。
設有自動除塵裝置，並可使用 Capture NX 紀錄塵點位置作事後除塵。
鎂合金機身，設有防塵防水滴設計，快門可使用 150,000 次。
配備 CAM3500DX AF 感應器，支援 51 個自動對焦點，當中 15 個位十字型感應器。
支援 14-bit NEF 檔案以及 TIFF 格式儲存。
3D Color Matrix Metering II 測光系統
支援預設白平衡微調。
100% 光學觀景器取景範圍。
3 吋 922,000 像素 LCD。
Live View 功能，可使用 TTL 51 點自動對焦。
6 fps 連拍速度，使用火牛或 MB-D10 電池手柄時可提高至 8 fps，最多可連拍 100 張 JPEG。
使用 WT-43 無線傳送器，可連接最多 5 台 D300 作連線拍攝。
支援 USB 2.0 電腦連接及 HDMI 視頻輸出。
支援 CF Type I/II，可使用 UDMA 高速 CF 卡。

Apparently Nikon D200 can give ISO 3200 with boost.
In the order hand, Canon EOS 5D can boost both ways to ISO 50 and ISO 3200.

They use an analog amplifier between the Photocapacitors in the CCD and the Analog to Digital Converter.
"Boost" increases the gain in this amplifier, but also increases the noise.

I would choose D2X (used) in this case.
Nikon top of the range product made in Japan.
For quality control much better than Thailand made products like D300.
Plus you also save additional money in battery grip.
(D300 battery grip MB-D10 cost you around additional $1850)
Noice control should be better than D300.
Menu in more fine details and can customise that suit your needs than D300.

I followed your advice and bought a D2X......... and the feeling is just great to have nikon flagship in hand.

But it shows "Error" when I connect a Nikon AF 300mm 2.8 to it. Can anybody here tell me what happened?
