this morning sold all 2628 in hand
first time in 2 years holding zero of this stock
really think in short term all good factors for 2628 had been overpriced
of course this is a good stock in long run and would take chance to buy back

It is okay, wait for correction and buy back.
2628 is tough to break $40 in a short time easily, but also is not easy to break $34.5. Except for big good or bad news come out.
I sold 80% stocks in my profolio today, holding 20% which are 2628, 939, and 1800.
If 2628 reached $40 in first time, I will sell 50% of it and wait for buy back at lower level.
PE is not too bad now, and expect to drop to 20 next year which is a good sign for it

really surprised to have 3 trustful comrades supporting me
mainland influence is really too strong and 2628 is such a legendary stock
I hope I don't have to be regret
still think by year end HSCEI will be 15000+
but in short term many stock had come to their peak leaving very little room to further rise
while waiting for a healthy correction to absorb back the star stocks such as 2628
now may be better to dig out some lag-behind stocks and buy small amounts of them for entertainment

I would not touch 358 since the price is too high, and just down grade by mutual house, pretty risky in short term
2006 Olympic concept, and been up fast recently, but the sales of his business is not that good. I would not touch either.

Yes, 1800 is a monopoly company in this sector and signed many big contracts already.

Maybe not that strong, 1800 supported by very big company or government.
It is depended on how many contracts 1800 signed and confirmed, not like 2628 can do varieties kind of business and investment.
But 1800 still a very good one to hold

This is the point
and that's why I say PE60 is too high
no matter how good a construction company's business is , there is a limit for the profit it can earn
The price of a stock is affected by :
1. It's earning power, both now and future
2. It's asset
3. investers hope to its future price increase
it seems to me the strong pricing trend for 1800 is only supported by factor 3. In a bullish market when the stock is hot fried there's no problem.

Your points are good, we have to see how it announced in earning report meeting and the prospective in future.
In fact, big and small investors are really love to keep 1800, that is stock market, no matter the PE how high it is.
All we have to do, is caution at all time.
You don't want to buy #5 at this moment since it is got struck by mortgage problem even its PE is quite low, that is stock market.
For 3~4 lines stocks, it flied to sky high, there were no concern about its PE or real business.
Whenever people love to do on some specific sector, you can either follow or not to buy; it is tough to analysis sometimes

Yes, agreed, could have another big run later, like 2628. We have never known, but if you bought it at lower price, why not to hold it for longer time
