How to get to Ma On Shan from HK Airport? Thanks

Hi everyone,
I am going back to Hong Kong on the beginning of this month. I have not been back to Hong Kong for a while - a long while( 9 yrs). I would like to check and see if someone can give me good directions. What would be the best way to go to Ma On Shan from Airport? I know most of you would say taxi. Well, I am sure there must be a smarter way to get round. Since I will be just by myself and on budget as well. Thank you in advance. Later.
