Self Drive In Japan

Any car rental company introdue to me?
I will go to Japan (Tokyo) next year 18 Mar 2008.

Don't bother. Hard to navigate in big city like Tokyo unless you know Japanese.:o:oh::jaw::reading:

try this

1. get more friends to share the cost(this is MOST EFFECTIVE WAY), but may quarrel for which places to go.
2. rent << 1500c.c. like k-car, but slow once u got many luggage.
3. use non-ETC/I.C. TOLL -way, but it may take long time=more gas expenses.
4. use free parking, but they are usually crowded.
5. by combination of JR and local rent car service once u plan a long way e.g. > 240km/day trips...,but may expensive too.
6. steal a car there, but u may get court and ..../(hahahha just for fun)!
7. become rich......

i love your final point...become rich.
once you are rich, everything's completely easier.

tokyo not meant for driving. even on the tolled road the jams are crazy.
outside of tokyo if you don't understand the rules, u are going to get alot of speeding tickets!
