travel with strangers

just wondering if anyone has travelled with total strangers before? love to hear people's experience, whether good or bad. just curious.
i did it once. i met someone through some online travel forum when i was in Hong Kong. she was from macau. and we went travelling in tibet and yunan for almost a month. that was fun and we are still good friends.

I was traveling in Greece once, met a fellow from HK.  We chatted a bit, and went island hopping together.  Wasn't bad.
