筲箕灣東海傍（1965）

轉貼一張1965年筲箕灣東海傍的照片，照片中左邊可見筲箕灣官小的部份（給岸邊的工厰大厦阻住，只看到部份四樓同天台）、明華大厦（尾）對落、金字屋頂的、有四條大漁船向着的就是漁市場﹝批發）了。再過少少、還可以辨別出這街渡碼頭的輪廓。照片右邊（海皮）則是南安街（永華戲院剛剛不入鏡頭）、愛秩序街（巴士總站）、宝文街，宝文街的四層高建築物分別是東華三院小學（左）和太平餅飦厰（右）。前面海皮卽今日的筲箕灣地鐵站了。
左邊山頭是鯉魚門兵房、右邊的就是愛秩序村，中間可見一小段柴灣道、由上而下、分別可見到筲箕灣官立中學，筲箕灣工業中學、慈幼修道院和慈幼中學。
從圖中所見，自62年溫黛后、至65年筲箕灣還沒有完全復原過來。唉....！

當年的大火好像無一人死傷﹐有傳言居民自己放火以逼政府安置上樓﹐不知有幾成真﹖

只看到一座古式建築物﹐要猜測的話﹐我估計是二三十年代。

you are most welcome. I just copied from someone's good descriptions. According to the old map shown, the exact location of that very old Shaukiwan ferry pier was at 杜雲里 （筲箕灣地鐵站B2出口左右）。

From the map of 1958, I just learnt that the Saiwanho ferry pier was just outside today's Tai On Building near end of Tai On Street, but not at the rubbish station of today's Hing Man Street. I remember I landed at the rubbish station in early 80s when the ferry pier was there. So I bet before 80s that ferry pier had experienced moving from Tai On Street to Hing Man Street. Can anyone confirm if my assumption is correct?

I can confirm that from 1968-1974 (could be earlier than 1968 or later than 1974), the ferry pier to Kwun Tong and Sam Ka Chuen (Lei U Mun) is situated at Hing Man Street. I took the ferry to Kwun Tong from time to time after school and after church, and that's why I'm quite certain over this. One thing unfortunate is that I did not appear to have taken any photo showing the pier. Anyway, I'll try if I do. If so, I'll post them here.
The following photo is the current (2007) Hing Man Street.

小販管理隊也通知小販輪着被拉.小販祇携拾多個生果上車充公貨物.那年代常見啦

除了愛秩序灣木屋大火外，1970 年還有亞公岩木屋區大火，個陣時我在
東大街尾一間電子廠做學徒，全廠只有五個男人，大火後第二朝，好多女
工雖然昨晚家園盡失，為左揾食仍然要返工，個個喊到豬頭一樣，搞到我
地幾條麻甩佬都唔知點算好。
