Short gold and YEN

I squared my short position of gold at USD915 yesterday and gain around HKD10K. But I think it will be a little bit risky to short more at this moment. Some people say gold will drop to around USD880 or lower. It is possible but I should not take the risk as gold should rise in the long future.

The next round is to short YEN. If it can reach 95 or near, then it is safe to short more.

I was very smart to have short gold at 1010 last wednesday
but very stupid to have squared it at 998

short yen at 97.5
squared 1/2 at 100
now still holding some
target 103
but with some worry.

seems US strength is reducing

Good position to short, but too nervous and too early to square.

By shorting gold and YEN, u will receive interest and u can sit for your position.

Now it is not good to short nor to long gold at USD930, I am losing direction.

So should focus on YEN, as it reaches recent high and speculators will feel panic for Japan governemnt's intervention if YEN is reaching 95.

Wait till USD970 to short gold. Yen - take long position.:quiet:

My bet on JPY, AUD and gold have paid off recently.:quiet:

Just squared my shorting YEN position yesterday at 114.5 and gained something. Together with squaring my shorting gold, longing AUD etc, the gain is quite fruity in the last few months.

I am targeting to gain around $100K to subsidize part of my wedding expense. And the major portion of expense fm my other funds and Australian shares investment.

Forex trading is indeed very risky especially if YEN related.

Next week will be the announcement of Fed rate cut, it'll provide an opportunity to open another position.

If someone interests in Australian shares, one should look at the major Australian banks, becoz their current prices are only 2/3 fm the peak. Australian market is still very strong.
