有幼稚園小朋友的家長心態
幼稚園學生的教育亦稱學前教育。大部份家長對這時期學生有兩種極端態度：第一，快樂童年。第二，望子成龍。
家長都想小朋友在成長過程中有一個“快樂童年”，但卻又担心小朋友不能打好升小學的學習基礎；但若果過份“望子成龍”，又害怕小朋友承受太大的壓力，就難以有一個快樂的童年。家長如何取向？
其實小朋友在這段時期，吸收和承受能力都是非常高的。家長在這段期間應該盡力造就他們和發掘他們的天賦，但當發覺他們承受的壓力太大時，就不要勉強。先讓小朋友嚐試，但家長亦要懂得何時抽身，這就是秘訣！
至於“快樂童年”不應以建立在“不用學習、只有遊戲的生活”作為基礎。
一個快樂的童年其實是在愛的家庭裡建立！作為母親的你，你百份百愛你的丈夫嗎？作為父親的你，你百份百愛你的太太嗎？讓我們這些作父母的，首先彼此相愛，讓下代在愛中成長，在人生中有一個快樂的童年。

What is missing in most Chinese family is HUG and KISSING.
Once the kid feels the love from their parents, I can assure you that they can improve their learning ability.
Parents only serve as a leading mode, not forcing mode.

social or academic skills?
“快樂童年” vs “望子成龍”
I think it is more like if you want to develop your children social skill or academic skill. There are students who have good grade at school. But, when they start working, they are lack of social skill to advance their career. I recall hearing this story. There is a company called Bell Lab and the whole place is a research centers. 80% people who work there has PhD degree, so there are a lot of smart people. What distinguish the extraordinary from and the average Joe is their social skill. Social skill takes a lot longer time to develop. Just my 2 cents.
