本人用400D及kitlens efs17-85mm 想拍超距物如鳥  本想買此欄師介紹之cannon ef-s55-350mm f/4-5.6 or tamromn af70-300mm f/4-5.6 macro1:2 ，但AFTER SEE MAGAZINE,發覺可用增距鏡達到效果，WANNA SEEK ADVICE!

增距鏡 = Teleconverter ? If you wanna use the teleconverter for your kts lens 17-85mm f3.5-5.6, I think you would not get what you want !

2x teleconverter will double up your lens focal ( 2x 85 = 170 then multiply with crop sensor 1.6x = 272mm ) this look good for you, you will get 272mm but this 2x teleconverter also will double up your aperture ( 2x 5.6 = 11.2 ), the problem come now, your 400D body AF ( auto focus ) will not work !!! ( for Canon enry level DSLR only support up f/8 only ).

It not not a proper way to buy a teleconverter for short range lens.

are both good.  Also you may want to consider IS unless you plan on taking the tripod with you all the time.

after searching info, final decide sEF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USm + Canon Extender EF 2X II   is it good choice?

EF-S lens 好似唔用得 tele-extender 架喎... 會頂住

同埋用鬆鏡都係唔好增距喇, 定焦就另計

Go for it, but have to pay more !!! :) A very good combination.

bad luck  NO STock for that canon lens  and dont wanna wait any more  finally buy a tamron 70-300mm macro lens la

today go to wetland park but too cloudy little sunlight  see photos la!

more photos using iso200  but still think when taking long shot  the quality is poor!
