Any good suggestion for Hoikaido?

I am going to Hoikaido this June /July with my family, any good suggestion beside the flower in FURANO?

Flowers in furano is not a good option since lavenda opens in late July and Aug.

Go to noboribetsu for hot spring and hakotate for seafood la ... :jump:

Thanks for the suggestion. Too bad I only have holiday at end of June and not later.  As for seafood, where can I get reasonably price Sushi/Sashimi?

otaru(小墫) is also good for sushi, and sightseeing, and buy glass products.

and you can also go to shiroi koibito factory, which is sort of on the way to otaru from sapporo.

don't forget about dairy and cattle farms, lots of good japanese cow products in hokkaido.

and i second the idea of going to noboribetsu for hot springs.  it's good any time of year.

Thanks for info. But I just think hot spring is just "too hot' for me in summer time!
I will look for seafood and flower + milk and cheese then

Then go to Sapporo, Otaru and Furano la ... :jump:

BTW, I think summer in Hokkaido is not hot anyway.  I remember I have photo taken a few years ago at Hokkaido in late July, the thermometer in the background showed 19.5 deg, not bad for hot spring.
