I am sure when that pic was taken, no McDonalds, no Watsons, of cos no CMK Electricity (Cheung Mo Kee), there was on one Chinese Restaurant called Kam Yip (Golden Leave!)

Tsuen Wan (Yeung Uk Road) Stadium used to be the Home Ground of Tsuen Wan Football Team!

The picture should be taken in the late the early 1980s.

As you can see from the top corner of it: Cheung Shan Estate was under construction.  (the 2 towers: lok shan and sau shan houses)  Shek wai kok estate was not even there!  Down to Tai Wo Hau: Tsuen Wan Garden and East Asia Garden were not yet built.  (a large piece of vacant land opposite Lam Bing Yim School!)  Also HYF's Pier was there with smaller boats near by, toward the Yeung UK Road Stadium side.

此乃70年代早期英製Ford, 俗稱大头福, 當時政府, 大公司用好多, 殯仪舘亦以之為棺材車, 80s 日本车普及后Ford完全失去HK市場

荃灣戲院 was there in the picture of 帖子59#!  Please see the bottom right corner of the picture!  I guess the picture was taken sometime in the year 1968, near Double Ten (Oct 10) as you can see from the huge sign board celebrating Double Ten (yes, not yet 1 Oct that years)!

You can also see the huge white BUS STOP like kiosk!  I can tell this thing was once located on Castle Peak Road, i,e the current CITY LANDMARK stop!  So to answer your question,  荃灣戲院 was there, near the corner of Chung On Street and CastlePeak Road, Tsuen Wan!

講到荃灣點能夠小得"三疊潭".

[size=3]可恨老搜自小學時期, 須在課本上略有閱及, 但一直來都無緣踏足. 然而, 相信過往很多師兄師姐都曾旅遊於此, 並對此處三叠潭所曾發生之事情皆屢聞不鮮, 現不再贅叙了.[/size]
[size=3]現欲遂心願, 是日到訪了三叠潭, 須未能把昔日之風光留下, 但至少可使今天最近况之情景給各位分亨.  由於現時政府渠務署正在開始挖掘疏導工程, 據附近士多店鄭姓女老闆娘講及, 政府疏導工程完竣後, 那三個水潭可能會從此消失的.[/size]
[size=3]現時下游第一個水潭在 "天龍橋" 下附近. 对上第二個水潭在 "潮音淨院" 旁,  水潭頂綠葉婆娑, 潭面寬闊, 但曾發生過多次溺人事故, 因此淨院特地在附近地面上打做了一個半邊形葫蘆作超渡, 令附近居民安心. 而第三個水潭在船廟 "雲連橋" 下附近, 水潭都保存着原有輪廓, 但潭水巳不清徹了, 由於三個水潭由下向上望, 畧成一線, 但遠看似分高中低叠在一起,[/size]
[size=3]如果想知道多點三叠潭一直來之情況及典故, 附近那士多店 "富貴屋" 之女老闆娘會很熱誠提供. [/size]

EXACT LOCATION IS OPPOSITE TO THE OLD POLICE STATION (dismantled now) or what we called NT South Traffic Division i.e =
where used to be 4 Seas Bowling and now Tsuen Wan Garden !
