TN: Chateau La Couspaude 2000
A friend introduced this wine to me, saying that it was a moderate priced but good St. Emilion claret.
Deep crimson in colour with yellowish tinge, showing its age, very expressive nose, strong cassis, cedar smell, medium to full bodied, soft and fine tannins with lingering finish. Its fruit is appealing. Drink beautifully. A wine only costs $4XX, which is value for money. What it needs more-complexity.

Thanks for your TN
Actually, quite a number of St Emilion reds, esp the Grand Cru Classe, are similar to this, no matter price range or quality, such as Chauvin, Grand Mayne, Corbin
If you dont mind paying a bit more, i would highly recommend Canon la Gaffelière, L'Arrosée, Monbousquet for tasting too
