非也, 老何絕不可稱專才；粵劇大老倌倒是於戰後至50s中常來家中作客, 還有印象；
粵語電影30年來, 看過的不超過10部, 而電視除開港台的亦不看,以至太座與人閒談,
並無這方面談資助慶(老何可算專制暴君,而愛妻的遷就, 各位晤恨得咁多)。
但這三年,看得最多的,反而是內地反映民生的制作,如：一個也不能少, 瘋狂的石頭,
手機, 夜店等等, 奇怪在港冇票房支持, 可惜！

我知道 Natalie 是很多人（特別是我們這一代）的青春夢裡人。
其實這個俄裔演員，你說她很美麗嗎，她又不算特別美麗，不是令你驚艷那一種；說她不漂亮嗎，更絕不可說她不漂亮。幾經思量，加上其獨特氣質、名氣搭夠，不能不選她。

其實我的牢騷比你更多，士大夫、讀書人的尊嚴已被踐踏得.....之所以毅然劈炮，離開從事了差不多三十年的教育工作崗位，更後悔離開得太遲。

先母個性堅韌, 少提自身的不幸.
小時聽姨母說, 抗戰時, 家中一日死三人. 但先母從未提起...
韓戰時, 先父破產, 家中一落千丈, 但先母從未提起, 亦無怨言.
若不是 先母/ 先父 教育之恩, 香港社會賦予的機會, 我決不能受到高深教育, 暫時衣食無憂.

上文的售貨員論,只属一個戲言. 前题是當專上教育普及到如便利店時, 基於商業生存原則, 互相搶客, 教師淪為店員乃是現實社会現象.
美國的大學也流行这一套, 学期尾那個問卷調查就是學生反擊老師的機会, 有些老師会好沮喪, 有些老師則處之泰然. 我女兒也是大學講師, 她是属於後者, 從來对那些問卷不屑一顧..

其實有掙扎, 我已是獲得資源多 / 幸運的一群, 相對父輩, 經歷戰亂; 兄姐衣食不足. 常覺得要積福行善, 回報社會.
而且不少學生親口承認, 他們看不起家累重的同事, 會惡言相向. :Q :Q 對我反而不敢太過份. 自己希望可以發揮一點燭光的功效....
但很多時候, 盡力備課, 揾資料, 嘗試不同的演繹, 好像對牛彈琴; 講8掛娛樂新聞, 反應熱烈. :'( 雖然學生的評議頗佳, 但覺得日子難過.
轉為行政, 收入有減少. 金融海嘯後, 真害怕老來無依...

纳稅人及家長花大錢去培養一個大學生去掃街, 对能否提昇國民質素很难講, 但肯定是浪費人力資源及金錢.
國民質素之提昇不在乎有幾多個大學生, 當大學多於便利店時, 大學教育水平急降, 大學只有名無實, 國民質素又如何提昇呢.

講真, 我的英文亦比前人差. 相信與社會風氣有關, 如家兄輩聽英文歌; 我則是聽中文歌.
但年輕一代不肯下苦工, 是最大原因...

我比較贊同精英教育. 中學畢業程度对应付日常工作巳綽绰有餘, 大學教育是高级人才培養, 人有愚苯聰敏之分, 為何要浪費社会資源去催谷一個愚且魯呢.
天才我才必有用,不是一定耍讀大學才成才. 錢學森是火箭專家, 在實驗室搞出諸多理論, 但如果無一班电器工, 機械士, 模型工, 那個火箭可成事嗎? 總而言之, 各有所才, 各師各業, 这才是多元社会.

相對我比較喜歡中庸之道:
50 60 年代, 不少青少年, 天賦甚佳, 因家境不好, 失去接受中 / 大 學教育的機會. 對他們不公道, 亦是社會的損失. 如梁振英 (雖然我對他品性存疑).
到 80 年代初期, 只有 少過 5% 的中七生可接受 專上教育. 到今時今日, 多過65% 的中七生可接受 專上教育, 浪費資源.

在多元社会, 各司各職, 有高有低. 如果全民皆大學生, 人人追求坐寫字樓, 还有人去掃街倒垃圾嗎. 當然, 如果有一個社会富有到溜油, 國民生老死葬一手包辦, 所有hard labor 及dirty work 都判给外人, 那又當另論. 那時讀書巳娛樂又消閒, 不是謀生所需, 人人讀個幾十年, 博士攞完一個又一個, 全民皆博, 社会質素自當高过 IFC.
其實與其花大錢搞什么大專普及, 不如放多些注意力在中學教育上. 讓中學畢業生寫得一篇通順的報告去应付一般 office work, 及基本數理化去应付电工, 水喉匠, 模工的要求. 現在的做法只是延長(extend)以前中學应該學的東西, 讓學生讀多幾年, 美其名是大學教育而矣.
以前的B.A ,B.Sc. 可以寫一本中學用的教料書, 今日有幾多個.
中國也不例外, 大學生多到滿地走, 出來月薪只有三幾千, 而一個只有中專畢業的CNC模工却月薪二萬, 还人才难求. 这就是社会倒置的現象, 大學生太多不值錢的現象呀.

1 哥多慮了,我贊成精英教育是因才施教的引伸, 並非贊同精英主義. 在每人一票的民主社會裹, 医生手上的一票和送外賣那個阿叔的一票是同等功用的. 至於会否产生特權階级則要看社会制度了, 今日大陸特權階級充斥社会, 是與精英教育無干, 亦與精英主義無関系.
美國是精英主義社会, 但我看不到那些精英有什么特權. 我以前居住的小鎮鎮長連公務車也冇一架, 更惶論司機, 雖然人人知道他是镇長, 食飯行街如常人一樣, 冇人会觉得他应有特權, 反而他要逢人say hello, 做個謙卑的公務員.

牛 sir 素有慈悲心, 斷不會贊成一小撮人騎在多數人的頭上. 故次, 我從未想過牛 sir 會贊同精英主義...
