The major bottleneck for web access is the internet connection.
Even very old PC still have sufficient horse power for web browsing

其實呢條真係唔係硬件問題...
因為如果你設定及上網供應商都有問題的話...
應該 pii 機上網同一部 core duo 上網都唔會有驚人的分別...

上網慢是取決於設定及供應商
設定方面上網有很多提供,
找不到請告訴我你的window版本

if the website you are visiting is slow or pretty busy, then.....:D

其實樓主用邊間寬頻公司
可能係去開個網頁多人入去, 而佢個server又頂唔住

You may first talk to your ISP and see if there's a modem upgrade. If you have stuck with the same ISP for a long time you likely have an older modem. ISPs constantly upgrade their network (thus, speed), and getting a new modem which can take advantage of the new upgrade may help.

Secondly, scan your computer and make sure it's not infected with worms.

Thirdly, if you are using wireless Lan, make sure it's secure and your connectioin isn't used by someone else.

Fourthly, if everything else fails, you can then consider changing ISP.

Get a faster machine and get on with high speed Internet.
