Chateau La Couspaude 98'
One of my favourites of St. Emilion. Deep garnet in colour. An opulent wine. Concentrated, with no hard edges, very plummy nose, ripe tannins and ends with a hefty finish. The wine was so delicious that it was finished quickly. A wine fetches for $297. What can I say? BTW, 98' is a particularly successful vintage for the right bank.
