故事講述紐約一間名為Shortbus的俱樂部, 就像一個性愛派對, 人們到那裡光顧除了尋求一時的狂歡, 亦盼望可從中解決性生活上的一些問題.女主角Sofia是個couples counselor, 已婚, 和丈夫Rob生活愉快, 可卻從來未嘗過性高潮. 有一天她來了一對客人,是一對相戀了五年的同性戀男士Jamie及James. 一天她跟Jamie和James去了Shortbus, 勇敢面對自己的問題,亦認識了其他角色如Ceth, Caleb及Severin.

激烈的做愛場面當然多, 視覺亦很豐富, 且不少搞笑"攞命"幽默位, 觀眾笑聲不絕於耳. 劇本及對白都很不錯, 加上演員都很專業, 演出大膽夠放. 電影開首許多很激的畫面接二連三, 本以為不會有明確的故事線, 但原來角色都有互動, 且故事也有感人的一面.

飾女主角Sofia的華藉女演員Sook-Yin Lee樣貌極之平凡(甚至不吸引), 但演技很好, 值得一讚. 其他男演員都演得不錯, 尤其是演threesome一幕的Jamie, James及Ceth.[/color]
