有很多人希望IFC2期（一定要明確是2期！）消失，但都有人覺得IFC2的出現「完善」維港的景色。以第一幅相為例，IFC2期同東面的中環廣場遙相呼應，同時也填補了中銀大廈/長江大廈至中環中心之間的一段空白。
當然，IFC2期的出現令由山頂俯覽維港的視線受阻，是一大缺陷。
