     雖然AMD還沒有拿到Turion 64 X2處理器的大訂單，但是我們還是要為做出這顆AMD第一個64位元筆記型電腦雙核心處理器的工程師們喝采，這些位於Dresden和Sunnyvale的工程團隊，成功的發展出在效能上可以超越前一世代的單核心筆記型電腦的處理器，而且功率消耗可以做到相等，或是僅僅稍微高出於舊的單核心處理器的功力。

     但是，論起和Core Duo、GM 945系統晶片組所組成的Intel平臺對壘，AMD處理器配上ATI系統晶片組仍然在電持續航壽命，以及多工運算效能上，略遜一籌，如果真要購買的話，AMD也只能屈居於第二位的選擇，同時，更不妙的是，Intel下一世代筆記型電腦處理器Core 2 Duo已經上市，就我們首測的成績看來，Core Duo 2甚至效能更好，而且還不會消耗更多的電。
