其實幾隻大牌子都差唔多，
睇你好唔好彩啫！
我比較偏愛Maxtor，WD，Segate呢3隻牌子。

maxtor 要小心，並非一定會發生，但我見過有些model會熱到著火。外國亦有人試過。

You should kown:
1. your budget;
2. access speed of the HDD;
3. could you computer support (for some old version BIOS)
4. Check web sites for spec. if available; or
5. chat with sales in computer shops. they know the most
Every brand is almost the same. All HDDs I replaced is for update. I have never ever seen a HDD dies in my computers for last 10 years.

HDD出問題多是某時期同生產線同批號產品較常見
如該牌近期同批號出品皆無問題傳出
其實不需多擔憂
市場淘汰了二十年
存活的都有一定品質
HITACHI(以前的IBM)、SEAGATE、MAXTOR、WD等都不錯的

Seagate喇!因為Seagate收購左Maxtor，好多Maxtor o既HDD技術都加入去Seagate HDD倒喇!

Honestly, after setting your own criteria (capacity, RPM, cache, SATA or ATA133...) , just go and get whatever is on sales. Not much differences between the big brands.
