Very sorry to hear about that!!!  :( :( :(

72 is not that old nowadays!  Many elderly people are old but healthy, look at TVB's Sir Run-run Shaw.  But finally it's the width of life that matters, not the length!

May your father rest in peace :rose:  and hope you can meet him in your dreams  :wave:

很明白你的傷痛。 我母親也是因肺癌在五年前離開我們的。我看著她呼吸有一分鐘吸一口氣，跟著兩分鐘才一口氣。最後完全沒有呼吸，我在那刻只盼望她可以能再呼吸，但沒有奇蹟出現。我們沒有哭，因為我們不相信母親離我們而去。我們在的待...直至護士出現，量血壓，測瞳孔，最後給母親床周圍圍上布簾。我們只是在看，眼前的一切彷彿只是一塲夢境，真希望不是真的。離開醫院想打電話把消息告訴其他人。還沒有開口，眼淚已從眼眶湧出來。對著電話發不出聲音，只說出媽...  母親離去已經五年了。但她的音容卻時常維繫在我腦海中。  這位朋友，希望您能把父親的一切放在心中。 親情不會因離去而煙滅的。

My condolences.

I am sure your father is lucky to have a son so care about him.
Dust to dust, we everyone will one day passed away.  It is what we have done matters.

Live your life to fullest,  sure he will like you to be strong and happy.

小弟的爸爸在我14時過身。
但是我們全家也未能見到他最後一面。
直到現在也覺得很遺憾。
無論怎樣也好人已經離開了。
我們只能懷緬過去的一切。
好好振作起來吧！
面前還有很長的路要走，
有很多事要做，
更重要的是還有很多身邊的人需要互相關懷照顧。
