當然，兩個行業根本係不同的運作啦
酒店行業是集體的操作，全間酒店很難說那個部門最重要，必須整體合作得好；零售行業，簡單來說就是一買一賣的遊戲，從批發商買回來的東西要好，賣出去的銷售人員才好做，所以主要就是為公司裝備好的採購人員和銷售人員，這兩塊做好了，生意好不好就睇個市場
以前會覺得酒店行業的員工，專業程度比做sales要高，不過現在顧客要求高，銷售人員也向專業化發展了，現在很多sales都對自己期望很高，希望有好的發展，比以前的短視現在進步了
酒店的fixed cost很高，整座酒店建築了出來，成本很高，業務範圍不是說縮窄就可以縮窄；零售方面，比較進可攻退可守，生意不好，馬上結束某些分店止血，虧本都無虧本得咁入肉
team spirit方面，一定是酒店行業優勝了，零售行業的人員分散不同分店，要做team building有一定難度

我自己的感覺............
以前做酒店，有canteen照顧lunch，零售行業當然沒有，不過我們有staff discount，經理級可以去到50%，你如果做一個好多人喜歡的品牌的話，你會發覺，突然多很多friend

totally agree on you. Hotel's is more on teamwork, though sometimes FO fighting with Sales, HSKP; Sales fighting with A/C, FO, F&B; HR fighting with other department for training schedule and recruitment... All time fighting only happened to those hotel who do not perform well.

有的，時裝的來貨價其實往往20-30%甚至更低，哈哈，一個萬幾銀的LV袋，成本價其實一仟都唔駛............唔係點賺各位老婆女友的錢阿？哈哈！
只要定下每月限額，50% discount for managerial staff只是一般行規
