[b]ＡＫＢ４８ファミリー”が５億円の義援金[/b]
人気アイドルグループ「ＡＫＢ４８」が１５日、東日本大震災の被災者へ５億円の義援金を寄付すると発表した。日本赤十字社と相談して１４日に開設した義援金送付窓口「ＡＫＢ４８プロジェクト義援金」に送られる。
義援金の送り主は、姉妹グループのＳＫＥ４８、ＳＤＮ４８、ＮＭＢ４８、総合プロデューサー秋元康氏の個人事務所「秋元康事務所」、ＡＫＢ４８劇場の運営会社「ＡＫＳ」などが含まれる。
ＡＫＳによると、メンバーたちから「自分たちにも何かできることはないだろうかと考えた結果、義援金を送りたい」との申し入れがあり、決めたという。

火災が起きた福島第一原子力発電所の４号機を冷却するため、警察庁は、政府の対策本部の要請を受けて、警察の強力な放水車を使って地上から放水する方針を固め、警視庁の機動隊に出動を指示しました。
福島第一原子力発電所の４号機は、１５日から１６日にかけて相次いで火災が発生し、核燃料を入れていた保管用のプールの温度が上がっていることが分かっています。この状態が続けば、燃料が溶けたり水素が発生したりするおそれがあるため、東京電力は上空からヘリコプターで建物の屋根の損傷した部分から中に水を入れることを検討していましたが、損傷した部分とプールとの距離が数十メートル離れていることや、１度に運べる水の量が少ないことから、ヘリコプターを使うことは断念したということです。このため警察庁は、政府の対策本部からの要請を受けて、強力な水圧で放水できる特殊な車両を使って地上から放水し、４号機に水を入れる方法をとることにしたもので、警視庁の機動隊に出動を指示しました。作業にあたるのは警視庁の機動隊員で、自衛隊から防護服を借りたうえで放射線量を計測しながら安全な距離をとって早ければ１６日夜にも放水を開始するということです。
