早在1989年我看過一份關於cdr的壽命問題,當時日本曾做過實驗,其中一款cdr在重覆閱讀過4000次後就會損壞,另外,如果cd機的laser head強度超過2.3mw的話同樣會損壞cdr,到了1995年,日本另一份報告指出,cd係用780nm波長的laser,而dvd係用685nm的laser,所以如果用dvd機讀cdr同樣有風險,cdr的壽命係取決於碟本身質數,儲存方式,使用次數,碟機的laser強度同波長..所以我好早就對cdr有戎心,我只有2隻cdr儲存一d好珍貴的錄音,隻cdr係在1998年做的,係KODAK的金CDR,KODAK話隻CDR可以有100年的保存能力,我用雙重鐵盒存放在黑暗環境,對今天仍然可以用任何碟機閱讀,相反,同年用幾元一隻的CDR,放了多年就自動玩完,所以我一直唔買LPCD,因為唔知佢用何牌子的CDR來做
