AKB48の姉貴分グループ・SDN48が6日に発売したメジャー2ndシングル「愛、チュセヨ」が、発売初日に5.0万枚売り上げ、4/5付オリコンデイリーシングルランキングで首位に初登場した。昨年11月に発売したデビューシングル「GAGAGA」（累積売上：8.0万枚）も、発売初日に同ランキングで1位を獲得しており、2作連続で初日を制した。

　本作は、TypeA・TypeB・劇場盤の3形態で発売。タイトル曲ほか、カップリングにアンダーガールズAが歌う「天国のドアは3回目のベルで開（あ）く」を含む全6曲を収録する。またTypeA・Bは、新曲3曲のミュージックビデオや、タイプ別に異なったメイキングや特典映像を収めたDVDが付属。劇場盤には、発売記念ささやき会参加券が封入されている。
