可是關雲長卻“身在曹營心在漢”。對曹操所有禮遇均做出婉辭！後曹操查知關雲長心儀劉備未過門的新妾“綺蘭”，只因一個“義”字而未敢表白。曹操暗施狡計，送上催情毒酒，欲陷關羽於不義！
關羽懸崖勒馬，從而帶著對此充滿恨意的綺蘭殺出曹營！一路上，關羽連斃曹操大將，但是，威武的背後，飽受感情折磨！與此同時﹐曹營裡的眾將因曹操對關羽一再容讓，軍心動搖！曹操為穩定軍心﹐而親自出征，誓要將關羽擒拿！
幾經艱苦，終於來到黃河渡口，平靜河邊已布下曹軍親兵的十面埋伏！生死關頭，死敵曹操竟一再以禮相待，忠義如關羽亦不禁動搖！身旁的綺蘭苦苦相諫，關雲長必須在“情”、“義”之間作出抉擇……
