How to put DVD disc into MP4 player ?

I have just bought a personal MP4 player from Shumshuipo.
It is a Speed MP2 PMP player.
It only comes with a conversion program, but it does not take DVD disc directly.

What should I do to put my DVD video inside ?
Do I need to "rip" my DVD disc first ?
