Sorry! I have a suggestion:

Don't always bet on 3x4, it's a wasteful way of betting football!

Reason: the odds in football seldom exceeds 4 to 1 (if you are beeting on 亚洲盘, the odds are 1.75-2）

If the 3 matches you've selected are all on your side of bet, then all your 4 trials are successful, but if one of them is failed, then there's only 1注 left, in other words 75% of your bet are lost!!!)

Suppose the odds of the 3 matches are all 2 to 1, if you bet a 3x1 instead of 3x4, the return would be 8 (ie if $50 for that 3x1, you could get $400 back)

If you bet on a 3x4 for the same case, you get back $1,000.

If you are unlucky that one match has lost, then you get back $200(is your betting money already), if the odds of one of the matches is less than 2.0, you lose also!

I don't think buying "all-up" is a good pratice in football gambling (it's not the same as horse racing in which the odds are much higher then)

Conclusion: The risk is not worth if you bet 3x4 when compared to 3x1

多謝意見，完全明白你的意思，我亦都知道 3x1 同 3x4 組合有唔同回報同風險。

我買波都係以小博大，亦知道一定唔同馬仔回報率。

有時我都會買下 4x5, 5x6 10-20 元玩下。

夠眼光無論買 3x1 同 3x4 都一樣羸，差在多與少，只怪我唔夠眼光。:Q

I agree.  That's why I seldom bet on 3x4.  I did that last time, with an additional 2x1 which I have confidence in the two teams as an insurance.  Of course, if that two teams lose, 只怪我唔夠眼光

I do know his mind regarding gambling too: (play safe and always bet on odds on favourite Q/QP, may think odds=chance...:lol)

In the world of gambling, odds does not duly reflects chance, though it's hardly controlled by the punters themselves.

But we are able to control the risk! All-up is a way of gambling that enhances risk unnecessarily!

Risk does not have any relationship with the betting money, but it's related to the number of 關 one need to pass! For example, if 3 matches with odds =2 to 1, if one wants to have a benefit of $400 from these 3 matches, one can either bet on any one match with betting money of $200, or a 3x1 at $50, or three 2x1 at $100 per each. If any one match is lost, 3x1 is lost too, one totally lost but the loss is only $50. If he bet on either one match, one has 2/3 chance to win and 1/3 chance to lose. If one uses the third model, one  has 1/3 chance to win and 2/3 chance to lose.

A 3x4 is a combination of 3x1 and three 2x1, if any one match is lost, 75% of the betting money is written off!

If we want to play safe, don't gamble!
If we gamble, we should control the risk, or attain the maximum benefit at a certain level of risk (The worst is to increase the risk without increasing the benefit! 风险高而利润不相应高是犯不著的！）
