照我這個老槍看, 西兄還是相當「業餘」, 烟癮不深. 作為一種個人亨受, 在不防礙他人的情况下,吸烟沒有什么大不了, 社會是 overreacting. 吸烟者已付了重稅, 算對社会有了交代, 不用過度自責.
論對人有害, 打麻雀應也上榜. 家中有一抬麻雀, 除那四人外, 其他看書, 看電視, 休息, 瞓覺, 發夢, 發吽逗的人, 被麻雀碰撞聲, 呼喝聲嚇到魂魄唔齊, 有心臟病的要叫白車, 冇心臟病的眼光光. 細佬仔交不出功課, 大人 做事無心, 楂車出事, .....等等( you name it). 為害不比吸烟少, 何不也立例禁止, 抽重稅 ?

香港政府唔係唔俾人吸煙，只不過唔俾人因吸／噴煙而影響／妨礙他人，措施相當恰當，絕對不是什麼overreacting。交左煙稅唔係大晒。
在家裡有台麻雀為害家人，只不過是個人管理問題，攪到家嘈屋閉，關政府乜事，政府點管得到？
政府管打麻雀管得仲嚴，若果打得嘈，十一點鐘差人就拍你門，但如在家中吞雲吐霧廿四小時不停都無人干涉你。

牛Sir所說確實真人版，話說外母喜歡捽嘢，她有三個半邊仔，每逢假日前夕，我們便要上去吃晚飯，飯後便要和外母共度四人世界，那裡有個念大學的女孩，經常都要在這種環境下溫習，早前的重要考試，我乾脆就不上去，不能成局我可能遭人埋怨，但女孩心裡知道我是關心的，那家族最疼是小姨的兒子，他要去外國讀書，就賣樓供給，像西藏活佛的迎送場面，讀了一年多花光那筆錢便回來閒晃，這小姨是唯一的無煙家庭，今年她患上了癌。
還有！我絕對不讚成吸煙，你拿起第一支還沒點著時，先要好好想清楚！

講返入正題
六十年代初，老豆開士多，仲賣埋煙仔，發覺來買煙的都是普羅大眾，並非甚麼抽洋香菸是身份地位，上流社會的象徵。
那是候上價煙買個一，例如總督 Viceroy，好彩Lucky Strike，雲絲頓Winston ，沙龍 Salem，吉士 Chesterfield（老何至愛）................
另外其他無咁貴的有紅金龍、白金龍、麼利士、555（State Express），孖寶等等，記都記唔到咁多。
最有印象一隻叫良友（Good Companion），一味夠平，只買六毫，好多人叫佢做道友煙。
點解咁有印象？因為當時賣煙都管得好嚴，每日都要做銷售及庫存記錄，老豆唔識字，更唔識英文，將個波推比我，我都係讀緊四、五年級，啱啱學英文，都要頂硬上，唯有靠死記，都做得頭頭是道。
但始終係細佬仔，做做下無心機就唔做，點知有政府部門來查，仲告上法庭，罰左老豆50蚊，被老豆鬧到黐肺。
