回復 #1 neiahyeah 的帖子

Now I know a bit more about the capability of my brain; I could read the above article alright, but it seems to me that the following would make it much harder to decipher the garbled words:
- words longer than 10 letters and
- standalone words (words not in a complete sentence or paragraph so you can't make any associations between individual words)
e.g.
Eitnnlihegng, isitnetnreg....

It's insightful nevertheless; thanks

it's funny! i think many people that have learned English some years can read the passage above without difficulties.Indeed we read a whole word rather than the specific letters among the word. This saying meets our recognization rule about human brains.I also think we can read a whole phrase rather than a specific word along with our development of reading comprehension capability. So reading it easily only can demonstrate your recognization proficiency not prove your intelligence.

could not believe that i could actually reading the ? power of the human mind according to a research at Cambridg University .it doesn't matter in what order the letters in a word are,the only inportant thing is that the first and last letters be in the right place. The rest can be a total mess and you can still read it without a problem. This is because the human mind does not read every letter by itself, but the word as a whole.Amazing huh? yeah and always thought spelling was important!if you can read this pass it on !

pass it
