筆兄，這柴灣大戲院是私人公司投資的，但它壽命很短暫、前後不足十年便拆卸了:wave: ！

水哥，我已多方向當年住柴灣的同事求證，真的是確有其事。
當年港島東的交通真係咁惡劣，上班時間，根本無車可搭，小巴後門都被人拉開來上車，曾經試過開辦柴灣往中環的渡輪來疏導，亦有些選擇先坐車往赤柱，再轉車往中環。
很多同事都記得那位行路往銅鑼灣的同事，可惜已英年早逝，無法問他當年慘況。:Q

小弟曾經試過因為身上只得一個斗零，無錢搭車，以致要由北角碼頭行路返西營盤，大概用咗個半鐘，柴灣到銅鑼灣路程相若，所以兩個鐘頭內應該可以到。:'( :'(
