Any good restaurant in Toronto

Any good restaurant in Toronto??

I enjoy Korean Pork Bone Soup.
The one in Yonge and Finch, Owl Korean Rest is good for value.:verygood:

I have tried the one at Hwy 7 called 大長今, next to a Japanese restaurant.  It is not very good.   Actually I think 豬骨湯 is not a tasty dish at all.

For pork bone soup, Korean town (bloor and Barthurst) has one of the best in town.  Competitive price too.  I don't like chinese operated korean restaurants.  They alway mix the dishes with other cuisine.

Baton Rouge! Very good one for Ribs and Steak!

As for All you can eat Japanese buffet.

Wasabi is quite good!

I have tried Hwy 7 called 大長今, it's not very good. Owl is much better. Actually the Korean owner owned Gan Shushi next door before.  They sold to another Korean. Before Gan is my best choice for Japanese Shushi, now is bad. The owner before worked Shushi restaurant in a hotel in Korea. I was told he is going to have another restaurant in Warden and Hwy 7 by the year end.

If you like Indian food, I recommend Bombay Bhel at Leslie and Hwy 7 (South). I like their butter chicken.

Wasabi 係位於Steele同Midland 附近，與Starwalk Buffet位處同一Plaza 內

仲有一間係Sept 6日(今日)開張，今日多倫多報紙有賣

Bombay Bhel唔係自助餐，係單叫，除左Ｄ "Butter Chicken"超正，其它野都唔會令你失望，
但做得最好係Mississauga Hwy10/Eglinton o個間，值得推介 :verygood:

I have only tried the one at HWY 7.
I'll tried the one at Mississauga.

But if I'm at Mississauga, I will like to go to Fu Kwong Shan Temple for it's cold noodle at the cafe.
$5/ bowl. It's vegetarian cold noodle but taste v good:D

小肥羊 at 2543 Warden is pretty good.  416-916-9866.  The best hot pot 羊 肉 I ever had in Toronto and HK.  All you cat eat for $14.99, $1 extra on weekend.  plus 10% service charge, including 羊 肉, 牛肉, fish ball, meat ball, veg, mushroom etc.   Free soft drink.  Paid $3 extra for seafood which I think not necessary.

another 小肥羊 just open  905-370-6868 (I think near T&T supermarket at Steeles & Middlefield, not confirm)  To celebrate, for every 2 dinner purchase on today and tomorrow, will get a One Free Dinner coupon for the next visit.

sorry, new 小肥羊 should be at Hwy7.
I try to make reservation on Sat and they are fully booked

Anyone has an idea of good drinking place in Noth York, Scarborough. Markham or Richmond Hill.
Where I can relax myself for an hour or so.
Ideally with soft sofa, soft music and not too noisy and relaxingly I can enjoy reading a book or magzine.:wondering:

I usually go to Startbucks if wanted to have a drink and do my reading. I can't think of any other places.

I like to sit on a hot tub/Jacuzzi at home when want to relax

Yeah, Starbuck is good..
I like the one in the mall opposite Scarborough town centre.

I would like the hot tub/Jazcozzi if I got one...:o

The best place for a quiet, relaxing drink is the lobby bar of any upscale hotel.  They often have good comfy couches and nobody will bother you.  You can order a drink or even just a coffee or tea, and sit and relax as long as you want.  They will leave you alone because they do not want to offense any of their hotel guests, and they usually assume you are one, or think you are there waiting for one!!  ;P

小肥羊 had a price increase
$14.99 (Basic)+ $1.99 (weekend charge) + $1.50 (soup base) = $18.50 per person
Better make reservation because lots of people wait in line.

Starbuck invaded Toronto as well? Is there any Second Cup left?

I think there are similar number of Starbucks and 2nd Cup.
But Tim Horton has 5 times out number these 2.
Tim Horton has a better regular coffee, but I like the setting in Starbuck.

Tim Horton have good coffee now? Wow, 10 years ago, their coffee was very bad.

Their coffee is good for the price...
Just don't drink coffee from Country Style, that tastes awful.
