[影片簡介]: 希臘萊斯沃斯島（Lesbos），因公元七世紀著名的女詩人薩孚（Sappho）而聞名，她留下無數動人的情欲篇章，也讓原本稱呼島民的單詞Lesbian成為女同性戀的專有名詞。一千多年後，另一個名叫薩孚（Avalon Barrie 飾）的女孩在島上誕生。她系出名門，家境優渥。性情奔放的薩孚嫁給了老實內向的英國畫家菲爾（Todd Soley 飾），兩人相約回到萊斯沃斯島度蜜月。也許這個充滿魔性的小島喚醒了薩孚心中沈睡千年的欲望，她對性格迥異的丈夫越來越不滿，而妖精一般的海倫（Lyudmila Shiryaeva 飾）又適時闖入她的世界。一場危險的三角愛情遊戲就此上演……
本片榮獲2008年塞浦路斯國際電影節金美神獎。
