Hey 999MAN,
You got some valid points there. As I am from out of town too and I have always kept myself in low profile to avoid any unneccesary attention from people around me. However, $1,000 will not do the fun. Out for lunch and dinner and Karaoke, you need at least $500 and for the girl, even a quickie will cost you another $500-600 at sauna, even more if you take the Kgirl to hotel. It is always a good idea carry the minimal credit card with you. Just like other brothers here I only use it on 5 star hotel only. Everything else are all cash. Play it safe is always a very good idea and don't forget to use the hotel safe whenever you take a girl back to hotel. You will never know what will happen after you fell asleep after all the actions.:lol

信用咭一事，我有個人經驗，我通常帶一張簽賬額低的咭到深圳，以備不時之需，但只會在大酒店或大百貨公司使用。
老實講，我在茂業等大公司用信用咭買東西俾囡囡，那cashier仲驚過我，又要對身份証，又要問老細。

有一次小弟和朋友乘大巴由彰仔去石龍 途中忽然有六條大漢上車 Ｌ形坐在我們前和後面 其中坐在前排大漢開始打我左面前的乘客右褲袋荷包 但不成功 後另一人行前補上用刀割 當我們兩人好似冇到 我立刻叫有落 和朋友速速下車 不然的話我们一定被劫呀

The cash thing, $1000 may not enough for someone who want to do some serious shopping, sight-seeings, karoke-ing, club-ing , sauna-ing and others.........
The dress-code thing, it depends in what occasions or areas. On the street of a business district or in a high-spending area, formal wearing people are all over the place.
