Insurance? Banking?

Dear 版主,

Working in HR for almost two years since graduated, I've come to a halt of this field.
And would start my career in insurance as business development trainee
While this is happening, my biggest wish is to work in banking industry.
Nevertheless, I found no way to enter but to join the insurance company for training
as well as helping me to finish HKSI.
I dunno if this is good to me...
Please advice! Thanks!:jump:

Sorry to my lately respond.

Come to first, it's not a major concern to identify the entry in joining banking industry.
If your selection is came to start as Insurance agent, it will not limit your futher developement in bank since the business will mostly cover investment area.

Besides, my advice is how to determine your interest...let say as:
1. Traditional Banking (Core) Business or
2. Investment Business

Hope it will make you having confidence to start your "Career".

kurtse, u need to think twise whether you want to join the bank for tradition business or major focusing on investment stuff.

Selling insurance is much better than a selling job at banks - more independent, results count, truely a life time career; in many ways it's like running your own business but of course that's not easy
