Chambolle Musigny Comte de Vogue 2005

This is a famous domaine in Burgundy and  yr 2005 is an outstanding vintage but the price of wine has been rocketing high.
Tasted the village wine this weekend and here are the TNs:

A berry nose, light ruby in colour, don't be misled by the appearance and the body is neither light nor heavy. Simply a beautiful
drink. It's so refreshing and no question that it's a perfect drink in hot summer days. The fruit and acidity are so balanced that
you can't stop drinking it. The bottle was finished quickly. Of course this is not heavy weight wine and I may regard this as a
piece of easy listening chamber music.

By the way, as the price of this producer soars, I haven't touched her any more. However, considering 05' is an exceptional vintage, I go ahead for her village wine. Wine is good but over 1K .......not so worthy.

from your name Latour 61,  u must be a serious wine lover.  Latour 61 is the ultimate bottle that my friend want to taste.  

By the way, i have not touched this wine before.  For a moderate Burgundy, it is not uncommon to charge over 1K.  2002 is also a exceptional year that a bottle of village wine can charge us over 1K.

C hing, I'm only an ordinary wine-drinker. Agreed with you that Burgundies are no cheap.

The Musigny of Comte de Vouge is really brilliant, tried their 96 & 99 which were so good that never get a Burgandian wine can compare, but the price is so...
but, for the price level of their Chambolle Musigny, i think there are plenty of better choices, the money can be spent on other better quality wine instead of the premium for the brand name...
