wt is the aim of that law? to protect the employees? will it change the incentive of employers as well as the employees? will it affect the overall business atmosphere or morale?

for example employers may
(i) lower the wages
(ii) lower the commission ratio
(iii) set a higher quota target
(iv) let the salesmen become self-employed

isnt it going to increase the conflicts between employers and employees?

正式是好做唔做 !  No need to interfere this.  Without the help from the HK Government, businessmen and employees have made HK prosperous.  There has not been anything done by the Government whatsoever.  HK people inclusive of Employors and employees inspite of the Government's interfere have been sucessful for over 50 years.  最低工資is created by the HK Government.  大官們的 monthly salary usually comes to 1/3 of a million dollars, damn !

you're right. the law can never protect everything. the law is trying to be written as simple as possible so that the society can have different interpretations and debates on the same matter.

now there're laws protecting the labour already and adding more requirements to the relationship between employers and employees is trying to make the industry less flexible; harming the competitiveness.

i believe that a more mature and united labour union will help the employee bargaining.
