Canon Expo

Canon 再次以單一品牌獨立舉辦大型展覽會，Canon Expo 規模之大，可說是近年為人津津樂道的盛事之一。Canon Expo 2007 – 全港最大數碼影像樂園，將於本年 11 月 23 至 25 日一連三日於香港會議展覽中心舉行，會場設有 12 個展區，每個都是充滿歡樂及趣味的佳能天地，盡覽佳能尖端科技及各系列數碼產品。場內設有華麗的冰上舞台，舞台上更有俄羅斯世界級花式溜冰《冰上皇族天鵝湖》的精彩表演以及全城熱話的 3D 高清立體影院。除了可以試用最新產品以及觀賞表演外，現場特設有大抽獎，有機會嬴取總值超過 HK$45,000 的佳能產品，頭獎更可獨得 EOS 40D 數碼單鏡反光相機套裝及 PIXMA Pro9500 A3+ 相片打印機，大家不容錯過﹗

I already went there on Friday night.
Canon official keep their mouth tight any info about 7D.
Seems you need to wait a few more months.

Not really.
You can test drive new 1Ds Mark 3 from the expo.
They only allow you test each camera 5 minutes.

But in my opinion, 1Ds Mark 3 is far better than 1D Mark 3.
LCD light is much bigger and brighter than current 1D.
Also when you press the shutter,
the sound is more soild than 1D.

You will expect it come out somewhere at Christmas time.
My estimate price at least $56K to $59K.

Guys:

Don't expect too much in this Canon Expo.
Yes, they show off all their existing lens and camera let you test drive.
But you need to wait very long queue.
Way too over crowded on Friday already.
So I would expect more people during the weekend.
Be prepare and be patient.

They do have some special items for sale at the expo, these are my picks:

1/ New light weight printer SELPHY ES20 cost less than $1200
2/ Special covers for existing IXUS 960 IS / 860 IS
3/ EOS accessories bags
