The BMW E90 automobile platform is the fifth generation of the BMW 3 Series range of entry-level luxury/compact executive cars. The car is also available as a station wagon/estate (designated as E91), coupé (E92) and coupé cabriolet (E93). It is the successor to the E46 platform, and was launched in March 2005.

I have the E90 330i for 11 months and just sold it for a Audi A6 3.2 Quattro. Overall the E90 330i is a very fast car. Really a racing car but lots of electronic problems. I need to back to BMW services 10 times with 11 old car for services all due to electronic problems. Every time need to be there for 2 days. That means I lost total 20 days for 11 months and not counting the trip to and from BMW services. And lately, the 330i develop a lots of funny noise everywhere inside the car. Not engine problem just the interior. It is not acceptable for a car on this price tag. So, just sold it for a better one.

Audi build is a lot better and the 3.2 Quattro is not slow either.

Oh brother , i just buy on new 335Cabrio(E93) , over all i have Z-4 now and 525i. Both they are good but my friend have one is 330i. He have few problem about nosie. Anyway do you have any comment new model?

I really don't know too much about the 335i just test drive it once. Off the records, BMW lost this customer already. You can see I sold my E90 330i in 11 months and you can understand why.

My feel about the 335i just after a short test ride can summarize below

1. If you got the 2 doors, Very good looking car.
2. Very fast, faster then the E90 330i without mod.
3. lots of room to mod it up to 400 Bhp since its a turbo engine.
4. The turbo engine is also the one I don't like. Its a modify E46 330 engine not like the 330i. A band new designed engine and the E90 330i engine is good.
5. The build looks good on the 335ci but don't know how long it least. My 330i is good for 2 months and everythings goes wrong. (Electronic wise not engine or gear box.)

Since I have a Porsche 997s as a fast car. This time I go for a more comfort ride car.
Actually, 997s has a lots of problems as well but I just like Porsche and that is why I keep it.
