SystemAdministrator

• Perform day-to-day system performance and     service/availability monitoring, proactive system tuning and problem     investigation, server administration, system backup & recovery,     software/application patching and develop scripts for system automation     job;
• Deploy software and hardware upgrades to the production     servers and sites;
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all     implemented systems and update for each system change;
• Manage the inventory control of system (HW) and     software;
• 
  Manage, administer     and maintain Backup Systems, Tape Libraries and other backup storage     technologies;
• Liaise with vendors for technical issues resolution;
• Assisting the Senior IT staff in setting up, review and     monitor adherence to hardware and software standards as well as     intellectual property compliance;
• Provide helpdesk support for all computer users;
• Provide technical training to computer users when     required.

• Degree holder in Information Technology or equivalent;
• 
  Holder of     professional certificate is preferable e.g. MCP / MCSE / CCNP / CCIE;
• 3 years IT experience in supporting POS application and     data centre operation;
• Experience in Windows Server, AD servers, Linux, Unix,     MS SQL, Oracle, VMWare, LAN / WAN inter-networking equipment;
• Programming knowledge (PHP / HTML / MySQL) would be an     advantage;
• Excellent teamwork, Self-motivated, customer handling     skills, communication skill, analytical, problem-solving and willing to     work under pressure;
• Good command in Chinese, English, Putonghua is an advantage.
