Profit/survival tactics

Profit/survival tactics

At the risk of being perceived as a doomsday lunatic, i would suggest the following tactics to profit/survive from the coming great financial/economic collapse of the US, when that happen, the rest of the world will suffer appreciably as well, in a globalised financial and economic systems...

Sooner or later, no nations or individuals will be buying US Treasury (not to mention dumping it). And the Fed will have to monetize its debt by printing more paper, as in the german weimar government, and hence, debasing the value of USD in a vicious cycle... the worth of USD will be way way way down from its current level....

It is still not late to invest in:
1) Physical Gold/Silver (the real money)
2) Oil & commodities(short term might have some correction, long term remains very bullish, especially when the inevitable war with Iran happen, and peak oil)
3) Agricultural commodities (food price inflation will persist for at least 2 years)
4) Foreign currencies in CHF, Yen, RMB, AUD etc... just not USD, Pound (USD could collapse *suddenly & significantly*), or USD pegged currencies
5) Stockpiling essential foods (global fall in food inventory, endless USD money printing (and debt monetization soon), biofuel, growing food consumptions etc)

I am merely repeating my suggestions here as the above have been my suggestions since 9+ months ago, it remain as valid as ever before, and more important and critical than ever before... only the item 5 is new addition...

And be patient, and in the short term there will always be ups and downs, and the collapse will implode in a not too distant future, most likely less than 2 years, and could happen as soon as within the next 3 months... ...

As always, do it at your own risk ;)

If you don't trust gold, do you trust the logic of taking a pine tree, worth $4,000-$5,000, cutting it up, turning it into pulp, putting some ink on it and then calling it one billion dollars?

Cash is always best!
I can understand this sentiment, but make sure your cash is not in the form of USD or Pound, or USD pegged currencies (unless depegged)
I myself do have 35% of my asset in foreign currencies

When the situation is bad enough, nobody would exchange their food for your cash... thats an rather extreme case though.. but the food scarcity worldwide is very real...
