Opportunities in China?

What are the opportunities in China for accountants (licensed)? (Other than working for an accounting firm up there)... with all the corruptions, are audits relevant in China?

Working at a big four and station in China will be a good choice to learn.
Don't always think of corruption, I think you really need to understand
more.

corruption is everywhere. but china is big time. between 1994-1995, i aduited a lot of companies in china which tried to go public in HK. most of thier files have no supporting docs. of any kind. if there are some, they are usually fake. Partners of the firm wouldn't say anything because they don't want to offense the clients

so how do you/your boss do your audit?
clean or qualify or resign?

it has already improved a lot for the time past, but you need to understand more about the China changing policies and regulations !

做大陸工,除佐audit firm外,在大型multinational做財务也可以.正正是老外及港人对內地的interity有介心先至令我地D港燦有机会.但机会己經少咗,因為土生土長不靠関係從頂級大学畢业入外资大行的一代巳成長,佔據高位,他们绝不会請香港人.很多外资大行也完成本地化.大量港燦教䁱徒弟無師,被迫回留或到更遍远的城市. 最近修改勞动法也令港商成本大增,結业者眾,直接影响港人飯碗. 港人在內地天之嬌子地位已不再,要有這个心理準備.
