hey dude,

if you logon to LMG, you will see the direction, it's on south western side of GTA, I live near 404, so I usually play around that area, Maple of Ballantrae is one of them....sounds like we need to go back to the Golf Dome for the weekend and let's see how it goes next week....

The course you play a little bit pricey for me. I am usually pay around $50 green fee courses.
The weather is good coming Saturday (maybe Sunday too) and lot of courses already open fo the season.
After I found Luanch Golf Centre I perfer go there instead of the dome. It is cheaper (with coupon on its web site) and better (out door field). Check the link on my previous post.

Just have my first game last week. With the super improvment Clubs did not help a bit on the game. For some reason I play worse then my old irons. I hit them better on driving range, I hit more consistence and straingth on driving range but slice on course. Any advices?

that is ok, usually this will happen on the first few rounds of the season...when you go to the range, you hit from the matt, but when you go to the course, you hit on the grass, then you start to think about what to do, when you think too much, it will affect your swing, suggest to go to range with actual grass and practice a few times there..that should help!!

We went to Mill Run on north eastern of GTA last Sat and it was great and no rain...

The grass driving range still not open and will open this or next week. I figure that's might be the cause....as the mat will not slow/stop the swing where the grass (on course) will when hit FAT. I took some video clips and see that my swing plan is too flat, need to adjust that. Will try out when my back is better. I hurt my low back on the weekend (not because playing golf).

I think he grip is okay, I am able to touch my plam with middle fringer. I don't know about the Lie....I did not adjust the angle of the clubs..is that what you mean on LIE?

ha, the best thing to do is to go get a teacher, cost you some $$$, but fix your problem right away!!

That's what I am thinking too, but never able to find the time. Any suggested good teacher around Scarborough area?

Just play other round (after few weeks off from the first one) last Saturday, still can't break 100 (113 was the score). I have start to collect statistic and based on the stat. I have 2 to 3 put for every hole and a lot of CHIP/PITCH, No single GIR... I did hit a few very good drive from the tee.....
I particed on grass range on Monday and I think I find out problem that could help with my Iron hit...that's stand more up-righ and LIE as WAKU's BF said........set-up the ball on the close to heel instead of sweet spot.
Wait for other game on coming Sunday at Tam O'Shanter......

ha, good luck, you should confirm the lie angle again before the next round, very often that when you think you have fixed the problem with one practice session, you will realize some other problems will appear when you go to the range or course again...but glad to hear that. It's a whole new world when you break that 100 mark, GOOD LUCK, 破百係所有初學者既夢想.

played on Monday too, under 35 MPH of wind and freezing rain (~ 6-8C) at Royal woodbine, quite interesting.

Hey Whyslow, have you play on the so nice Sunday, I did. Ah..still can't break 100..but have few impressive long drive off tee, but wasted on the second shoot. Have better control with my driver now but need work more on the short game, especially putting, most of holes need 2 - 3 putts and few even 4 putts. Iron shot improved on this game, but still not that consistent with my 5 iron, but was okay with 4th.
Just found out my Taylormade sand wedge is 54 degree, no wonder I alway hit on the edge when on the club face. I am Planning to trade-in for a 56 degree Sand and get a Lob wedge, any suggestion? Planing for other game coming Sunday hope the whether will be as good as last week.

Sunday did not play, but played on Sat, still at Maple, hit 100, need one stroke to break, it was so close but yet so far...I was so close in breaking a 100, but did a triple Bogey at 17th...and screwed up the whole plan

go to golftown and say, I like cleveland lob and sand wedge, but you will need to try a few on the spot to see which one you like. Will play again this Sat and Sun but the weather is going to be bad, hopefully it is still playable...we will find out, shall report back early next week

HK keeps raining for almost 3 weeks, I can't play any game in HK; only 1 game in China, but NOT very good - score 104

Main reason: NOT stable of my Tee-off shoot
