wireless network

I have bought a router for the wireless network and now every
computer (4) at my home can online. But how can I share the files
among the 4 computers? ALso, can I change the setting so that
(1) all the files can be shared among the 4 computers;
(2) only 2 of them can accesss the Internet

File sharing is set under Windows OS folder setting, not router. It is fairly simple.
For limiting the number of devices, you can setup the router DHCP to only give out 2 internal IP.

I am sorry not to make myself clear. I mean 2 computers would not be
able to online all the time while 2 are allowed to online all the time. I do
not want my children to online.How can I do it? I think what you suggest is that each time the maiximum 2 computers online, right?

You can set the MAC address of the authorized computer, on the router.

Ok, another way to do this is :
Set the 2 PC which you allow access to internet using the router as DHCP server on one segment, eg 192.168.1.xxx. They can pass the router to internet. The other 2 PC use fixed internal IP of another segment, eg 10.0.1.xxx. These 2 PC cannot pass the router to the internet.

I am using Win XP and Buffalo router, can you teach me how to do this 2 step as I am not famialr iwth IT settings. Thanks

So need to set under the router? Or just set under the Inetrnet Opetion TCP/IP in each computer?

Set the 2 PC you want to access internet using the router's DHCP server. This is done within the PC TCPIP setting, just set the router's IP address as the DHCP server.
Set the 2 PC you don't want to access internet with fixed internal IP address on different segment. This is also done within the PC TCPIP setting.

I have tried this, but the problem is that the files cannot be shared. The 2 computers cannot access the internet cannot see the files of another two computers in the Network Neighborhood.

on the 2 PC which you donot allow to access internet
go to the Internet Protocol, TCP/IP, properties
on the lower half, the default is "Obtain DNS automatically......."
choose "use the followint DNS server addresses"
enter any invalid number like 10.1.1.1 and 2nd one use 10.1.1.2

You cannot do this as all the 4PC cannot share files because they are under two different subnet. Example A and B is 192.188.x.x C and D is 10......; then A and B can see each other but not C and D, same thing C and D cannot see A and B.

I think you want all 4 PC to be able to share files, while A and B can online any time but C and D can online with time restriction, right?

or may be u can try this：

1. to share files between computers
click, “STAR” →“ RUN” → then enter “\\192.168.x.xxx”（the ip address of the compter to want to see.）

2. to block internet access of certain compters
may be a simple way is to use the high security password
click “tools” →“internet options”→“property” set a password and limited the internet access.
