新世界百貨(0825-HK)每手入場費HK$5,858.52元，7月12日上市。

分拆自新世界發展(0017-HK)的新世界百貨，公布上市詳情，公司計劃發行4.063億股，90%國際配售，10%公開發售；招股價介乎4.8-5.8元，集資最多23.57億元，以中位數5.3元計，集資淨額約20.12億元；集資所得4.5-5.5億元作未來3年開設新店，6億元作收購百貨店租賃物業，5億元收購其他百貨店，2.5億擴充及翻新現有百貨店。

新世界百貨將於6月28日至7月4日公開認購，7月12日主板掛牌；保薦人為德銀及匯豐；按每手1,000股計，入場費5,858.52元。

新世界百貨預測07年度盈利不少於2.65億元，較06年度1.58億元增長67.7%；去年營業額為7.5億元；招股價預測市盈率介乎30-36.25倍；派息比率不少於30%。

此外，總發售股數約5%將供新世界發展股東認購，每持有182股的合資格新世界發展股東，可認購1股新世界百貨。

與同類型股份金鷹商貿(3308-HK)相比，追貼46.5倍PE就已經有28%嘅潛在升幅。

其實新世界走的路線,跟長江差不多

但一直未能做出成績

好似新世界做基建和長江基建,成績立見高下

I have a view on this counter and honestly, when I looked at the allocation, I knew this poor showing was coming.  But because I have another bullish view on it, I didn't bother to sell immediately, for fear that I might be wrong.

This allocation favors the big tickets and with group B, you are getting 4.9%.  People in this group are mostly on borrowed funds with 10% haircut.  And no one would have expected 4.9% allocation which is 49% of the money they put in.  This is just too much for comfort.  So they will unload a good part of it.  But after this is digested by the market, I think there are better days ahead and here's my view.

I subscribed for this counter because it's the 3rd generation running the show, the grandson of Cheng Yue Tung and this is his first show.  With the kind of money of Uncle Tung, he's not gonna put on bad show for his beloved grandson.
