Too many story lines. Rated as Level III because of foul language used (not because of nudity) in the movie.
I think this movie had managed to expose only a portion of the state of mind of a sex-worker. To me, I believe they are just ordinary people needing to rely on deception (not in a bad way) in earning a living. Being more successful in hiding their inner feelings (or more "professional") and satisfy their customer, the more successful (more business) they become. This is just a means of living, after their "office hours" which may be from 8:00pm to 3:00am, they are just ordinary people. I don't believe if the plain truth is told, it will warrants a movie.
Needed money (or for the love of it), struggle between moral values, make decision and go forward, earned the money, having the money and spend it, reinforce the love of money and then the cycle continue itself until a change in the environment/sickness/old age hits in.
This formula is universal in a capitalist society just that the part of the struggle in moral value is dissimilar for everyone.
