What is your optional about the market direction in August ?

I meant opinion, not optional, typing error

Better not to guess as I have no CLEAR idea.

But as mostly said by others, buy on the stock rather than the index.

JPY also shooting up to 117.60 from yesterday night's 119.50

both are bad indicatiors from my view

Yes, easily hit 22000 soon, maybe go futher to 21500

Indeed not pessimistic enough, people now are buying stocks with their tremulous hands. Meanwhile US market is overeact on the incident of American Home's when Europe/Asia are trying hard to extricate from such nastiest situation, in the end, who's gonna get whip?

No war but all stock markets will crash, gold price will fall and oil/commodity prices will rise.

destructive factors : US subprime mortgage bad news

Yen strength is not a cause but a resultant factor

no direction but with extraordinarily large upward and downward swing.
if got time and extra money, do very short term trading to take advantage of the W shape fluctuation, and probably warrants if you have knowledge and experience on this.

or buy trustful defensive stocks
