Agreed, the subprime problem is much much bigger than is currently being revealed... and this is going like a slow motion trainwreck... but i dunno how much subprime loan hsbc has though.. but i would tend to stay away from finance stocks except china

HSBC has sticked this rate for a long time.

美國「次按危機」之憂慮重現，令美股下跌。就算联儲局主席伯南克指出美国經濟仍然強勁，昨晚之美股早段仍跌近100點。至於港股方面，昨日之調整已初步反映昨晚美股下跌的預期，相信今日市況可以企穩。

the profit had been substantial
